Whistleblowing Policy
SIA Pure Chocolate is committed to operating fairly, responsibly and transparently, in compliance with the Whistleblowing Law (February 4, 2022) and other applicable regulations. We believe that business ethics and sustainable development start with open communication and a safe environment for all employees.
What is Whistleblowing?
Whistleblowing provides an opportunity for any company employee or associated individual (such as interns or contract workers) to report potential violations that could impact the company’s operations or the public interest.
A whistleblower is an individual who provides information about:
- Potential internal or external violations within the company
- Actions that could endanger the company’s sustainability and reputation
- Unethical practices that may have negative consequences for society
This system ensures that any employee can freely and safely raise concerns without the risk of negative consequences.
How to Report a Whistleblowing Concern?
If you have information about potential violations, you can submit a whistleblowing report through the following methods:
Electronically: Send an email to trauksme@pch.lv
In writing or anonymously, by submitting it to SIA Pure Chocolate at:
“Ābeļziedi”, Pūre Parish, Tukums Municipality, LV-3124 using one of the following methods:
- By postal mail
- Delivered by courier
- Submitted in person
- Placed in the dedicated whistleblowing report box (located at the employee entrance corridor and not subject to video surveillance)
What Happens After a Report is Submitted?
- All whistleblowing reports are registered and documented.
- If personal data is provided, it will be pseudonymized to ensure anonymity.
- The Whistleblowing Committee evaluates whether the report meets the whistleblowing criteria.
- If it qualifies as a whistleblowing case, the committee reviews the report within its assigned authority.
- The whistleblower will be informed of the outcome of the review.
Important! The whistleblowing system must not be used for making false accusations or deliberately providing misleading information.
We believe that transparency and ethical conduct are the keys to long-term success. We appreciate everyone who helps us create a trustworthy, fair, and sustainable work environment!
